Airtricity – Energy Efficiency Upgrade – Blanchardstown

Project Description

Energy efficiency upgrade retrofit scheme for local authority homes in Blanchardstown. The project was funded by SEAI, Fingal County Council and Airtricity and completed within a ten week period.

Project Scope

The works consisted of deep retrofit of 340 local authority houses to bring them up to a C2 BER energy rating. Each house benefitted from:

• CFL Lighting
• Energy Efficient Windows and Doors
• Attic Insulation
• Cavity Wall Insulation
• Building Energy Rating

J&M Building Services was responsible for:

• Overseeing Health & Safety compliance
• Q&A Inspections
• Liaising with all parties
• Managing subcontractors with app. 25-30 operatives

In February 2014 J&M Building Services were contracted to project manage and execute the complete refurbishment of the new KN Group Headquarters in Dublin.

Project Description

The brief was to:

• refurbish the entire building, opening it up bringing a sense of space and modernity to the build.
• and to create an inviting, productive and open working environment for all KN Group employees.

Project Scope

The scope of the project encompassed exterior refurbishment, internal building and re-fit. J&M Building Services project managed all building work and liaised with all external contractors. The project took nine months to complete.
